Welcome
RDO challenges and enlightens public perception of older people through musical presentations performed by seasoned artists for audiences of all ages. RDO envisions a future where an individual’s perceived abilities are not defined by their numeric age.
Raison d’Être Opéra stands in solidarity with our community in resistance to the violent and illegal tactics of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. We acknowledge the grief, shock, and distress each day sadly brings, and realize our words cannot change or resolve any of these crises; but we offer the very real comfort and reassurance which can be found in making and sharing music together. We encourage peaceful protest, and suggest you join us in supporting organizations which provide shelter, food, and legal protection to those being targeted and harmed by this Administration.
With love and compassion,
The Board of Raison d’Être Opéra
Gary Briggle, Debra Gilroy, Deborah Carbaugh, Patricia Kent, Gary Gardner, Catherine Gulsvig, Angela Paulson
